Today is my favourite kind of day - drizzly, grey, cool - and the air smells vaguely like smoke. The grocery store just unloaded the first pumpkins of the season, the leaves are changing colours, and I have an actual use for sweaters again. I spent the afternoon reading, knitting, napping, snuggling with cats, and just generally soaking up the soporific and comforting feel of the day. If I can get up the energy and will, I'll bake some apple spice muffins.
Oh, I love Fall!
